Last July, Roxy Borowska and Dusty Wittman, now affectionately known as the ‘Biwa Bottle Boat Challengers’, designed and built a boat out of recycled PET bottles (nicknamed Dr. PET) and paddled their way across Shiga’s Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake!
